During your stay, you’ll share this quiet haven with a handful of fellow guests—and a few friendly residents, including our free-roaming chickens and ducks. It’s a serene, adults-only space designed for proper rest and relaxation.

Our rural location makes Field End the ideal base for outdoor adventures. Anglers will love being next door to Chequer Tree Fishery, while cyclists can enjoy peaceful rides along nearby country lanes. There are countless walking routes to explore—many dog-friendly—plus we’re just a short drive from the scenic Kent & East Sussex Railway in the charming town of Tenterden.

 

Local Flavours and Country Pubs
Feeling peckish? The area is packed with excellent country pubs and eateries, or you can grab barbecue supplies from the farm shop just outside our local village, Bethersden. There’s also a traditional butcher and a grocery shop in the village, with larger supermarkets in Tenterden if needed. Don’t miss a visit to The Old Dairy Taproom Brewery near the railway—or one of the many local vineyards for a leisurely afternoon.
